Assistant Account Manager

ROLES &
RESPONSIBILITY

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations
  • Handle TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance including timely filing of returns
  • Assist in preparing financial statements as per applicable accounting standards
  • Manage invoices, payments, petty cash, and employee reimbursements
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / M.Com preferred but not mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
  • Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
  • Hands-on experience in preparing MIS reports and financial statements
  • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
