ROLES &
RESPONSIBILITY

1. Clinical Marketing & Scientific Communication

• Translate clinical trial data into effective marketing and physician education strategies.

• Present and defend clinical evidence during scientific meetings, hospital interactions, and congress forums.

• Support internal sales teams and distributors with scientific positioning and competitive differentiation.

• Act as the primary regional expert for explaining trial outcomes from a commercial and physician adoption perspective.

 

2. Sales Leadership & Regional Market Development

• Lead regional sales and marketing initiatives across assigned EU territories.

• Support market expansion strategy and distributor performance.

• Identify growth opportunities and develop country-level commercial plans.

• Build strong long-term relationships with hospitals, cath lab teams, physicians, and clinical stakeholders.

 

3. Physician Engagement & Network Development

• Establish and maintain a strong physician network across targeted regions.

• Work closely with high-volume clinical users (not limited to KOLs) to drive product adoption.

• Conduct hospital visits, product trainings, and case discussions regularly.

 

4. Congress & Event Strategy Execution

• Plan and coordinate participation in major medical congresses (PCR, LINC, TCT Europe, etc.).

• Proactively identify congress opportunities, delegate attendance plans, and ensure clinical training preparedness.

• Prepare regional teams on clinical positioning before conferences and competitor interactions.

 

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with India-based clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure continuous availability of updated clinical content and materials.

• Coordinate internal communication support through designated India-based counterparts.

• Ensure timely sharing of regional market feedback with global leadership.

 

6. Leadership & Decision Making

• Act as a regional decision-maker for commercial and clinical communication execution without dependency on daily management approvals.

• Support the onboarding and mentoring of regional team members.

• Ensure alignment between regional strategy and global commercial objectives.

 

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education & Clinical Background

• Degree or professional background in Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Technology, or Biomedical Sciences

• Strong hospital-based exposure in vascular or cardiovascular procedures

• Prior experience in cath lab environments or interventional device handling is preferred

 

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of regional or country-level Sales & Marketing experience within the European medical device or healthcare industry

• International exposure across EU, Middle East, Africa, LATAM markets is a strong advantage

• Proven experience working with clinical trials, scientific publications, and evidence-based product positioning

 

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of clinical trial interpretation and application for marketing purposes

• Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly to physicians and sales teams

• Experience working with distributors and hospital procurement channels

• Strong congress planning and scientific event management experience

 

Language & Cultural Skills

• Fluent English (mandatory)

• Additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish are a strong advantage

• Ability to work across multicultural environments and international teams

 

Location & Travel Requirements

• Candidate should preferably be based within 300 km radius of the Netherlands office

• Ability to travel frequently across Europe (same-day business travel expected)

• Monthly in-person coordination meetings required
